Lavelle & Finn to Sponsor Mendelssohn Club's Centennial Season

DELMAR, NY (01/21/2009)(readMedia)-- The Mendelssohn Club of Albany today announced that Lavelle & Finn, LLP will be an official sponsor of the club's 100^th anniversary season and celebration. Founded in 1909, The Mendelssohn Club plans to officially recognize and celebrate its 100^th anniversary on May 16, 2009 with a concert at Chancellor's Hall in the State Education Building.

"Our 100^th anniversary is a major milestone for both the club and the Capital Region. The Club is composed of men from the Capital District, Hudson Valley and Berkshire regions, and performs a full range of male choral selections from around the world. A faculty member at Union College, Dr. Klimash holds a Doctor of Music in Voice from Florida State University, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Voice from The Eastman School of Music.
