Lebanon Valley College Continues Friday Night Comedy Series with October Entertainers

ANNVILLE, PA (09/28/2015)(readMedia)-- A varied selection of guests will continue the October installment of the Student Programing Board's Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College. Each semester the group selects a series of performers to perform Friday nights at 9 p.m. in Leedy Theater in the Mund College Center, unless noted otherwise. All shows are free and open to the public.

The first entertainer for the month is comedian Tyler Boeh, who will perform his act Friday, Oct. 2. Having placed in a long list of renowned comedy competitions across the country such as the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions, the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and the Boston Comedy Festival, Boeh is noted for his high-energy and intelligent performances.

On Friday, Oct. 9, LVC will host virtuoso performer Lindsay Benner in Lutz Recital Hall in the Blair Music Center. Internationally acclaimed, Benner has performed all over the world, with New Zealand, Japan, and England being only a few of the countries on the list. She is one of the few female performers to receive the Variety Artist of the Year award from the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) and one of the few female non-magicians to receive the Performer of the Week award from the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Inspired by classic vaudeville and golden-era comedy, Benner's performances showcase her wide variety of skills in acting, physical comedy, and juggling.

The final act for the month of October is the Halloween special event, the Paranormal Cousins on Friday, Oct. 30 in Zimmerman Recital Hall located in the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery. First the Cousins entertain with a multimedia presentation to captivate audience members with audio and video evidence of paranormal events they have experienced in more than a decade of formal investigating as leaders of a well-known paranormal investigation team that travels the Northeast. Following their presentation, the Paranormal Cousins will lead the audience in an hour-long paranormal investigation utilizing state-of-the-art paranormal investigation equipment at a location within or near the venue.
