Lebanon Valley College Friday Night Comedy Series Continues Sept. 5 with Comedian Landry

ANNVILLE, PA (08/15/2014)(readMedia)-- Comedian Landry will perform for the Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College on Friday, September 5 at 9 p.m. in Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center. The show is free and open to the public.

Landry is a Canadian-born, interracial love child whose hybrid existence, when mixed with a little dysfunction, makes for a fantastic recipe of comedy goulash. Taking inspiration from personal life experiences, he creates a comedy style that appeals to audiences from all walks of life, age groups, and ethnic backgrounds.

By using his likeable hair and charisma, Landry has reached success in stand up comedy. In 2010 he took the title of "Best Male Comic" in the Atlanta Stand Up Awards and in 2011 he was the winner of the Boston Comedy Festival. His other accomplishments include being a finalist in The 2010 Great Canadian Laugh Off, the 2011 World Series of Comedy, and the 2012 Miller Lite Stands Up Competition.

The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College is sponsored by the Student Programming Board and includes performances by comedian Michael Kent on Sept. 12, comedian Jay Black on Sept. 19, comedian Jonathan Burns on Sept. 26, comedy improv Mission Improvable on Oct. 10, comedian Francisco Ramos on Nov. 7, ventriloquist Megan Piphus on Nov. 21, and an End of the Year Bash with a performer to be announced later this fall.
