ANNVILLE, PA (04/17/2014)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College's annual spring Handbell Choir concert will take place Monday, April 28 at 4 p.m. in Lutz Hall of the Blair Music Center. The performance is free and open to the public.

Lebanon Valley College's Handbell Choir strives to refine ringing techniques and performance literature to an advanced level. Auditions and performances are held once a semester. The choir is under the direction of Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman, professor of music.

A frequent recitalist as both an organist and pianist throughout the Midwest and East Coast, Moorman-Stahlman has garnered an impressive array of competition credits which include semi-finalist at the St. Albans International Organ Competition in England; audience prize at the Spivey International Competition; finalist in the Arthur Poister Competition; second prize in the MTNA National Wurlitzer Competition; and finalist, Region VI AGO Competition.
