ANNVILLE, PA (08/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Comedian Louis Ramey's performance continues Lebanon Valley College's Friday Night Comedy Series Friday, Sept. 19 at 9 p.m. in Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center. The show is free and open to the public.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., a friendly dare first brought Ramey to the stage while in college. He told a few jokes in a local jazz club, and couldn't resist making comedy a career. He was voted Best New Artist in 1999 at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He has also participated in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and Tour, sharing the spotlight with performers such as Howie Mandel.

The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College is sponsored by the Student Programming Board and includes performances by comedian Jonathon Burns on Sept. 26, comedy improv Mission Improvable on Oct. 10, comedian Francisco Ramos on Nov. 7, ventriloquist Megan Piphus on Nov. 21, and an End of the Year Bash with a performer to be announced later this fall.
