Comedian Jamie Lissow to perform in LVC's Leedy Theater Sept. 6 at 9 p.m.

ANNVILLE, PA (09/04/2013)(readMedia)-- Jamie Lissow, a Rochester, N.Y. native, graduated from Fredonia State with a degree in mathematics and psychology. Lissow decided to abandon his plan of becoming a lawyer and enter the world of stand-up comedy. He will bring laughs to Lebanon Valley College Friday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. in a free and public performance.

After working many treacherous road gigs and college shows, Lissow was invited to audition for the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, and earned a spot in the Festival in 2001.

The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College is sponsored by the student programming board and includes performances by comedian KT Tatara on Sept. 13, comedian Tracey Ashley on Sept. 20, comedian K-Von on Sept. 27, mind reader Eric Dittelman on Oct. 11, magician Ran'D Shine on Nov. 15, and an End of the Year Bash with a performer to be announced.
