Leda Gibbs of Syrcause Recieves Assistantship to Teach in France

ROCHESTER, NY (04/24/2012)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College is pleased to announce that Leda Gibbs '12 was selected to receive a French Government English Teaching Assistantship for the upcoming academic year. She will be teaching in the city of Grenoble. Administered by the French Ministry of Education and Cultural Services, these competitive assistantships give students a chance to gain experience in their field and improve their language skills as well as foster cross-cultural understanding.
Gibbs, of Syracuse, N.Y., is a French and adolescent education double major at Nazareth College who will graduate this May. With the French Government English Teaching Assistantship, Gibbs will teach French to high school students while pursuing a master's degree.
