Libertyville High School takes second place at MSOE

MILWAUKEE, WI (12/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Students from Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Ill., took second place in Milwaukee School of Engineering's annual "OP"portunity Science Conference. Team A was coached by Pete Dawson and Dave Kreutz. The OP Conference gives high school students the opportunity to demonstrate excellence in academic pursuits. The competitions challenge the skills and abilities of students at all levels.

For the OP Science competition, teams of eight students completed individual tests in biology, chemistry and physics and also participated in a team event. Sixteen teams competed this year and winners completed the tests with the most accuracy. Arrowhead High School (Hartland, Wis.) took first place and Brookfield East High School (Brookfield, Wis.) took third place in the competition.
