Living Room Worship Offers Students a Space for Authentic Fellowship
As more young adults return to church, seeking in-person community and spiritual grounding, Cedarville University students are building that kind of space on campus through Living Room Worship, a stage-free gathering centered on prayer, singing and fellowship.
National Research Shows Gen Z and Millennials Seeking Church Community
Recent national research from the Barna Group and Gloo's State of the Church initiative points to what it calls a "historic reversal" in attendance patterns: Gen Z and millennials are now the most regular churchgoers, outpacing older generations. Barna reports Gen Z churchgoers average about 1.9 services a month, or about 23 services a year, and notes that Gen Z and millennials have moved from just over one weekend per month in 2020 to nearly two in 2025.
