AIKEN, SC (07/03/2018) University of South Carolina Aiken students joined other interns at ADP Augusta to share their projects with senior leaders of the company and the university.

"The ADP Augusta Spring Intern Project Presentation was an opportunity for our USC Aiken student interns to present what they have been working on during their internships," said Kathryn McGlynn of Career Services on campus.

According to its website, ADP is a comprehensive global provider of cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions that unite human resources, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefits administration, and a leader in business outsourcing services, analytics and compliance expertise.

"Our unmatched experience, deep insights, and cutting-edge technology have transformed human resources from a back-office administrative function to a strategic business advantage," said one ADP executive.

The university's Office of Career Services places hundreds of USC Aiken students as interns with regional industry, business, economic, political and educational leaders. ADP is one of the key partners in this experiential, career-progression program.

"The internship program with ADP provides us with an opportunity to evaluate the talent USC Aiken has to offer," said Dave Brendza, division vice president and general manager for ADP in Augusta.

"ADP continues to be impressed with the skills, professionalism and preparedness of the interns from USC Aiken.

"We look forward to our continued partnership with USC Aiken."

For some Pacers, the relationship with ADP lasts long after the internship - even after graduation. Currently, USC Aiken estimates that approximately 20 alumni work with the human capital industry leader. In fact, some students who participated in the ADP August Spring Intern Project Presentation were offered full-time jobs after they graduated.

"Each of the students clearly enjoyed their tenure at ADP, both in terms of what they learned and for the teamwork and comradery they experienced," said McGlynn.
