Local Central Penn College student receives $1000 scholarship

SUMMERDALE, PA (08/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Quinn Weatherall, a legal studies major from Lakewood, Pa. was one of two Central Penn College students to receive a $1000 scholarship at the Central Penn College Education Foundation's 41st annual golf open on Friday, August 17. Weatherall and Chereese Johnson, a criminal justice major from Baltimore, Md., received their scholarships during the event, sponsored exclusively by Capital BlueCross, at Armitage Golf Club.

"I'd like to express my deep gratitude to Capital BlueCross for its wonderful generosity and continued support of the golf open as primary sponsor," says Education Foundation Director Matt Lane. "The scholarships awarded each year in Capital BlueCross' name are very special to the deserving students who receive them."
