Local College Graduate Accepted to Law School

Megan Sassani earns a spot at Penn State Dickinson School of Law

SUMMERDALE, PA (02/23/2012)(readMedia)-- Central Penn College graduate Megan Sassani, of Steelton, Pa., has been accepted to Penn State Dickinson School of Law for the fall 2012 semester. Sassani graduated from Central Penn with a bachelor's degree in legal studies in 2010 and an associate degree in paralegal studies in 2009. Currently serving as a legal secretary for the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office, Sassani aspires to be a prosecutor once she completes her education at Penn State Law.

"I wanted to work in the judicial system because laws affect every aspect of daily life," says Sassani. "I was encouraged to attend law school by one of my favorite professors, Randi Teplitz. My professors at Central Penn taught me to move forward and to never be discouraged by small obstacles."

On Sassani's educational journey at Central Penn, Professor of Legal Studies Randi Teplitz, says, "It was fun to watch Megan evolve from being a quiet student to a confident and assertive professional."
