Local Fire Department Helps Soldiers Repair Flag Pole

KEWANEE, IL (06/17/2016)(readMedia)-- Members of the Kewanee, Illinois, Fire Department helped Soldiers at the Illinois National Guard Armory repair a flag pole in front of the armory June 14 through June 16.

The firefighters used its ariel platform to hoist the Soldiers to the top of the flag pole in order to remove, repair and replace the broken parts. The flag pole was damaged in March after a storm passed through Kewanee.
