Local Graduate Shares UVM John Dewey Prize
Griffin McNamee '20 and Makayla Salas '20 shared the John Dewey Prize for Outstanding Philosophy Major at the University of Vermont this semester.
The prize, named in honor of UVM's most illustrious alumnus, is awarded by the department of philosophy to students who demonstrate outstanding undergraduate coursework and research in philosophy.
