Local Resident and SMU Law Student Stacey Cho Places Second In Prestigious Legal Writing Competition

DALLAS, TX (08/10/2010)(readMedia)-- Stacey Cho, a student of the SMU Dedman School of Law, won second place in this year's Selma Moidel Smith Law Student Writing Competition sponsored by the National Association of Women Lawyers. Essays from across the nation were judged on content, exhaustiveness of research, originality, writing style and timeliness. Cho's paper, "Uncovering the French Headscarf Affair: An Analysis of Religious Expression and Women's Equality," will be mentioned in NAWL's next Women Lawyers Journal, published this fall.
