WALESKA, GA (03/13/2013)(readMedia)-- Randell Trammell, a resident of McDonough, Ga., will be honored as a 10 Under 10 during Reinhardt University's Talon Awards Gala on March 21, 2013, at Northside United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga. This annual event honors distinguished alumni and dedicated members of the Reinhardt family.

10 under 10 Description

Each year Reinhardt University recognizes a group of 10 alumni from the last 10 years (2002 - 2012) who have been successful in business, the military, nonprofits, government, and/or the arts. These alumni are recognized at the annual Talon Awards Gala in March. A picture identifying each will hang in the Student Center as a reminder of what Reinhardt alumni have accomplished.

Randell Trammell '03 '09 Background

Trammell earned a B.S. in Religious Education and later completed his MBA at Reinhardt as a part of the inaugural cohort. Trammell is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis on Organizational Management and Leadership at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

In 2004, Trammell joined the State YMCA staff as a District Director. In 2009, he was named CEO making YMCA of the USA history as one of the youngest currently serving CEOs. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Georgia YMCA Directors Alliance and received his YMCA Senior Director Certification in 2008. Randell serves on the Reinhardt University Board of Trustees, Alumni Board of Governors, and is an adjunct professor at Reinhardt teaching nonprofit management. In his community he serves as Vice President of the Lake Dow North Property Owners Association.
