Local Student Elizabeth Sloan Earns Award from Wells College

Sloan Awarded Jean S. Davis Prize

AURORA , NY (06/23/2010)(readMedia)-- Elizabeth Sloan, of Fayetteville, has earned the 2010 Wells College Jean S. Davis Prize. Sloan recently graduated from Wells this past May with a degree in Economics.

The Jean S. Davis Prize is awarded to a member of the graduating class, majoring in either economics or sociology, who has shown both the fine understanding of facts, and the social implication of the subject involved, so characteristic of Miss Davis.
