Local Student Melissa Vair Earns Prize from Wells College

Vair Awarded The Dorothy Allison Razor's Edge Prize in Women's Studies

AURORA , NY (06/24/2010)(readMedia)-- Meliss Vair, of Durhamville, has earned the 2010 Wells College Dorothy Allison Razor's Edge Prize in Women's Studies. Vair recently graduated from Wells this past May with a degree in woman studies.

The Dorothy Allison Razor's Edge Prize in Women's Studies is awarded annually to a graduating women's studies major or minor who has demonstrated a commitment to and understanding of the political, social, intellectual, and transformative goals of women's studies and/or feminism.
