SUMMERDALE, PA (02/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Elrica Adams-Finney of Easton, Pa., a Central Penn College criminal justice administration student, has received the Rosa Parks Award for Academic Excellence. Adams-Finney attends Central Penn Lehigh Valley and chose to attend college when her two sons were in college themselves.
"Her passion for the law and making a difference in the world has motivated her to succeed," says Academic Dean Kathy Andersen. "She consistently earns Dean's list status, in addition to bringing inspiration and character to the classroom atmosphere."
Students are nominated by the faculty and staff of Central Penn. Adams-Finney was one of four Central Penn College students awarded for their outstanding performance in the areas of academic excellence, community service, leadership and character during the college's February 15 Black History Month luncheon.
