Local resident accepted to Harding University

Shelby Breedlove

SEARCY, ARK. (06/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Shelby Breedlove of Greenwood (72936), son of Steve and Cathy Breedlove, has been accepted to attend Harding University for the fall 2012 semester.

Breedlove attended Greenwood High School where he was a member of Beta Club, and played in the symphonic, jazz, marching and pep bands. He was an Arkansas Ambassador of Music, All-Region jazz and concert band member and drum line section leader.

Breedlove received the academic and Enoch Music scholarships from Harding.

He will be welcomed to campus on Aug. 16 for Student Impact. This orientation program is designed to help freshmen and new students learn about the campus and make the adjustment to college life.

With an enrollment of more than 7,100 students, Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state.
