Local student receives Commencement Award at Bryant University

SMITHFIELD, RI (05/21/2013)(readMedia)-- The following Bryant University student received a commencement award at Bryant's 150th Commencement on Saturday, May 18:

Joshua Jones, of Barnstable, received the Environmental Science Leadership Award presented to an outstanding graduating senior in environmental science who has excelled in the classroom and laboratory, exhibited leadership in initiatives for improving sustainability at the University, and shown potential for valuable contributions to the environmental field. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, cum laude.
