Local student receives two Commencement Awards at Bryant University

SMITHFIELD, RI (05/21/2013)(readMedia)-- Lauren Wallace, of Steep Falls, received the following commencement awards at Bryant's 150th Commencement on Saturday, May 18:

• The George M. Parks Award presented to a bachelor's degree candidate whose recognized leadership qualities have done the most to enhance the reputation of the university

• Student Senate Service Award presented to six deserving graduating seniors in recognition of their outstanding service to the student body of Bryant University

Wallace received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics: Public Policy, magna cum laude.
