Lock Haven University Accepts Danielle P. Stone into Online Master of Education Program
Stone Admitted to Teaching and Learning Program and Awarded a Graduate Assistantship
LOCK HAVEN, PA (10/11/2011)(readMedia)-- Lock Haven University is pleased to announce that Danielle P. Stone has been accepted into the LHU Master of Education Teaching and Learning Program and has also been awarded a Graduate Assistantship at the University.
Lock Haven University's Online Master of Education program in Teaching and Learning is designed to provide in-service teachers and other education professionals with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of instructional design, assessment, classroom management and technology integration. The Teaching and Learning Program is fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation for Teacher Education and is aligned with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Jerry Falco, Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions at Lock Haven University notes that, "The online Master of Education programs are highly desired by working educators because they can pursue their graduate education at a schedule and pace that fits the demands of their personal lives."
As a Graduate Assistants Stone performs academic research at the university 20 hours per week for a related discipline area. In return she receives a stipend and full tuition remission.
A resident of Tioga PA, Danielle is the daughter of Robert and Joan Stone who also reside in Tioga, PA. Stone graduated in 2009 from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
