Logan Pryor Chosen General Manager of Student Radio Station at Hampden-Sydney College

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (02/26/2014)(readMedia)-- George Logan Travis Pryor, a junior at Hampden-Sydney College, has been elected General Manager of Tiger Radio, the student-operated station. Founded in 1972 as WWHS and operated from the historic Carriage House, Tiger Radio is now an online streaming service.

Logan was Program Director last year and assisted in bringing Tiger Radio online this year. He serves in the Garnet & Grey Society (student tour guide) and is a member of the social fraternity Chi Phi. Logan is a graduate of The Steward School and is the son of Dennis & Cindy Pryor of Manakin-Sabot.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
