Louisville's Dr. Louie Bailey to perform at Campbellsville University's Noon Organ Recital

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (01/25/2016)(readMedia)-- Dr. Louie Bailey, minister of music and organist at Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky., will be performing at Campbellsville University's Noon Organ Recital on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 12:20 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Bailey is also the music director at The Temple Adath Israel Birth Sholom and chapel organist/choir director at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

He is the choral conductor for the Highlands Latin School where he conducts nine choirs from third grade to 12th grade. He also conducts two choirs for the Louisville Youth Choir.

Bailey graduated with a Bachelor of Music in piano and music education from Georgia State University. He holds a Master of Church music degree and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

As a professional accompanist, he has participated in concerts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Korea and England. He has prepared choirs for Carnegie Hall and Rockefeller Chapel. He has conducted the Kentucky Baptist All-State Children's Choir and All-State Youth Choir and led many music workshops around the United States.

The concert will last until 12:50 p.m. to allow attendees to get back to work. Everyone is invited to the free concert.
