Luther senior Ingrid Cologne to be featured in All-Senior Art Exhibit May 7-19 at Luther College
DECORAH, IA (05/15/2013)(readMedia)-- Ingrid Cologne of Edina, Minn., will have her work on display May 7-19 in the Kristen Wigley-Fleming Gallery in the Center for the Arts building on the Luther College campus.
A reception will be held for the artists just outside of the exhibit in the Center for the Arts at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18. The reception is open to the public with no charge for admission.
Cologne, the daughter of Julie and Duane Cologne of Edina and Smithtown, N.Y., is majoring in art at Luther. She is a 2009 graduate of Edina High School.
Cologne will feature two pieces of mixed media collage.
The annual exhibit is held to give the students graduating with an art major the opportunity to present a sample of their entire senior project one final time while in college. The exhibit features a variety of works including painting, sculpture, photography, collage, video and mixed-media installation pieces.
The student exhibitors include Maseeh Ahmed, Kurt Bearinger, Sophia Brown, Nellie Herold, Eric Hild, Katelyn Kluge, Jason Knutson, Hannah Kosgard, Phoebe Jan-McMahon, Robby Scott, Emily Temte, Emily Voss and Rose Weselmann.
