Senate Majority Leader Bruno Receiving HCP Elected Official of the Year Award

WHAT: Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno will receive the New York State Association of Health Care Providers, Inc. (HCP) Elected Official of the Year award in recognition of his commitment to expanding access to home and community-based care. Sen. Bruno will accept the award at HCP's annual conference tomorrow.
During a time when the Nation is on the eve of millions of baby boomers retiring and a potential long-term care crisis, it is now more important then ever for elected officials to recognize the need for cost efficient and patient-preferred home care services. Sen. Bruno has long championed expanding access to home care services and recognizes the need for an accessible system of long-term care in New York.
Presenting the award will be Phyllis A. Wang, President, HCP.
