MKTO/Emblem3 Performance at the 2014 State Fair Cancelled

Replaced With McClain and American Pride

LEWISBURG, WV (06/20/2014)(readMedia)-- Lewisburg, WV (6/18/2014) - The State Fair of West Virginia has announced that a scheduling conflict has forced the cancellation of the Sunday, August 10, MKTO/Emblem3 concert. To replace the canceled show, the State Fair is pleased to present the addition of two free shows. McClain with China Ann McClain will take the stage at 2 p.m., followed by American Pride the Statler Brother Tribute at 7 p.m.

Both shows will be free with a paid gate admission.

"Scheduling issues arose after our date was confirmed and simply could not be resolved. Ticket holders will be contacted by our ticketing partner Etix, and the refund process will be prompt and efficient via refunds to their original form of paymentt," says State Fair C.E.O. Marlene Jolliffe.

McClain, formerly known as The McClain Sisters, features Sierra, Lauryn, and China Anna

McClain, who were born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Coming from a family of singers, songwriters, and musicians, they have grown up in a house filled with music. They formed their singing trio at the tender ages of nine, seven, and five, building their voices and artistry from the ground up. The sisters have since then performed at the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll, sharing the stage with R&B sensation Janelle Monae, and Australian pop singer Cody Simpson.

China Anna McClain is best known for her role in the hit Disney Channel show A.N.T. Farm. She was also recently featured in ABC's Sing Your Face Off and has starred in Tyler Perry's House of Payne, NCIS, Hannah Montana & Wizards of Waverly Place.

American Pride has captured the true authenticity of The Statler Brothers sound, while keeping the legacy alive and promoting traditional Country Music, which is generational, yet crosses age boundaries. Just as The Statler Brothers had two members who are actually brothers, Harold and Don Reid, so does American Pride, as Mike and Jimmy Whetsel are also brothers. Both the Reid brothers and the Whetsel brothers have a life-long love for Southern Gospel quartet music, and still find that audiences at all venues cannot help but clap their hands and pat their feet to "I'll Fly Away" or "Heaven's Jubilee."
