Maggie Johnson Selected to Receive the Millersville Univeristy Alumni Association Legacy Award for Fall 2011

MILLERSVILLE, PA (06/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Maggie L. Johnson of Dillsburg, Pa. has been chosen to receive the Millersville University Alumni Association Legacy Award for the fall 2011. The Legacy Award is given to an incoming freshman who is the child or grandchild of a Millersville University alumnus and who displays outstanding participation in extracurricular activities and leadership, as well as graduating in the top of their class.

Johnson will attend Millersville University this fall, majoring in English. She is the daughter of Dorothy (Nace) Johnson, '85. She completed a traditional college preparatory program at Northern High School. Johnson completed several honors and advanced placement (AP) courses, including American history, English, world cultures and English literature. She was a member of the high school newspaper staff and of the National Honor Society. Johnson participated in her high school's Christian Club and was a Relay for Life team member.

The Millersville University Alumni Association Legacy Award is given in the amount of $319 and is non-renewable.
