EMMITSBURG, MD (04/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Frederick, MD - Lauren Hagan joined Mount St. Mary's University Office of University Communications staff as Associate Director of Marketing - Graduate and Adult Programs.

A native of Mahwah, NJ, Lauren graduated from Hood College in 2012, with a BA in Communication Arts and English, and for the last two years served as Communications Director for the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce - where she produced multimedia marketing campaigns, managed media inquiries, and coordinated the Chamber's website and social media platforms.

In her new position, Lauren is responsible for developing annual marketing plans to attract, sustain and retain students for the Mount's adult accelerated undergraduate, and graduate and certificate programs - as well as the conference center - at the Mount's Frederick Campus. 

Founded in 1808, Mount St. Mary's University is the nation's second oldest Catholic university - offering a rigorous educational experience rooted in the liberal arts.
