Mallory Newbrough Performed in Ithaca College Theatre Production

ITHACA, NY (04/24/2012)(readMedia)-- Annapolis resident Mallory Newbrough played the roles of Rose Hoffman, Millworker Soloist, Heather Lamb, Migrant Worker/Roberto's Mother, and Ensemble in the Ithaca College theatrical production of "Working." Newbrough is a senior musical theatre major.

Newbrough's previous Ithaca College main-stage credits include Storyteller in "Children of Eden," Greek Chorus in "Electra" and Marianne in "Plumfield, Iraq."

Stephen Schwartz brings journalist Studs Terkel's book to the stage with the help of a host of songwriters, including James Taylor. "Working" takes us to steel mills and cubicles and sings the trials, tribulations, tedium and joy of the American worker.

"Special thanks for all the years of love and support from my wonderful families, both here at Ithaca College and at home. I would like to dedicate this performance to my mother, the hero I carry with me in my heart," said Newbrough.
