Malone University's Antonio Scassa is Outstanding Nursing Student Award Recipient

CANTON , OH (05/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Antonio Scassa, a recent Malone University graduate from Massillon, Ohio, is a recipient of the Stark Carroll District Outstanding Nursing Student Award. Each year, the SCDONA presents the award to a student from each of the Stark County nursing programs. The recipients receive a certificate for a portfolio, and a gift of appreciation.
Scassa was recently recognized with his fellow recipients at the SCDONA annual meeting and awards presentation held May 3.
Scassa's nominator called him a "very conscientious student" – noting his eagerness to seek out new learning experiences, his professional demeanor, and his ability to maintain a high grade point average while participating in co-curricular activities. The 6 foot, 220-lb. Scassa also played linebacker for the Malone Pioneer football team throughout his college career.
