R. Stanford Terhune Jr.

CANTON , OH (06/30/2011)(readMedia)-- R. Stanford Terhune Jr., former director of library services and associate professor of library science at Malone University from 1982 - 2010, has been named Librarian Emeritus.

Recently retired from the University, Terhune's involvement was integral in the development of the Ohio Private Academic Libraries, working closely with consortiums OHIONET and OhioLINK.

In 2010, he was presented with the Outstanding Service Award by Ohio Private Academic Libraries (OPAL) at its annual meeting, the only citation the organization awards.
