SIOUX CENTER, IA (04/08/2014)(readMedia)-- Dordt College senior Mandy Faber presents her solo senior art exhibit, currently on display in the Dordt College Campus Art Gallery through Sunday, April 13.
"I wanted the paintings and sculptures in this show to explore the colors and animal symbolism related to the seven deadly sins," says Faber. "Each piece was designed to be a balancing act, tiptoeing the line between chaos and order, good and evil, gallery work and what you would find on the street. I like to think that this exhibit would be just as comfortable in a gallery as it would be scrawled quickly on the side of a building."
Faber is Kirkland, Washington, and is majoring in art with emphases in fine art and graphic design.
