ALBANY, NY (01/21/2013)(readMedia)-- Diana L. Wollman of Manhattan is the new chair of the 2,691-member Tax Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Wollman is a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell. Her practice focuses on U.S. federal tax matters and New York State corporate and bank tax matters.

A 16-year member of the State Bar, Wollman recently served as first vice-chair of the Tax Law Section.

Wollman graduated from Harvard University and earned her law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. She was an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School.

The 76,000-member New York State Bar Association is the largest voluntary state bar association in the nation. It was founded in 1876.
