Maren Morris and Lindsey Stirling Announced

DES MOINES, IA (02/22/2023) (readMedia)-- Platinum-certified country artist Maren Morris announced on the Iowa State Fair Grandstand on Thursday, August 17, 2023, and fearless electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling to take the stage on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Both concerts go on sale on Friday, February 24, at 10 a.m.

While rooted in country, but armed with incredible vocal stylings and songwriting chops, sheer talent, honest lyrics and an undeniable presence, Maren Morris is one of the leading voices in music today. Her Grammy-nominated third album Humble Quest debuted at #2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, broke the record for most first day and first week streams globally on Amazon Music for a country album by a female artist and featured Gold-certified, Grammy-nominated lead single "Circles Around This Town," which was the most-added single at country radio upon impact and broke Amazon Music's record for most streams for a country song debut by a female artist. Morris has won a Grammy and multiple ACM and CMA Awards over the course of her career, and her hit collaboration "The Middle" with Zedd from 2018 is officially six times Platinum-certified. August 17, 2023, will be the first time Morris has played at the Iowa State Fair.
