Margie Danstra To Join Howard Payne VB Next Season

BROWNWOOD, TX (05/14/2013)(readMedia)-- Today the Howard Payne University volleyball program announced the addition of Margje Damstra of Dublin, Texas to the list of 2013 commitments.
Margje Damstra has met all Howard Payne University admissions requirements and has committed to continue her athletic career at Howard Payne this upcoming season.
From Dublin, Texas, Margje was a multiple All-District selection and served as team captain her senior year. As a 6-0 middle blocker, she was named District MVP and 3rd Team All-State her senior season.
Margje was a regional qualifier for the Dublin tennis team. She has also been a part of the Dublin high school student council and FFA.
She has excelled in the classroom being named three times to the Academic All-District team and Academic All-State as a senior. She plans to major in Pre- Veterinary studies while at HPU.
