Mark Stribling Ellison Jr. awarded scholarship to attend Wofford College

SPARTANBURG, SC (04/08/2010)(readMedia)-- Mark Stribling Ellison Jr., a senior at Wade Hampton High School, has been awarded a Benjamin Wofford Scholarship at Wofford College.
Ellison is a member of the class of 2014. Parents: Mark and Regina Ellison of Greenville, S.C. (29617).
The Benjamin Wofford Scholarships are named in memory of the founder of the college. These scholarships are awarded annually to male students nominated by their high schools and selected by Wofford College as possessing outstanding qualities of scholarship, leadership and character.
Ninety percent of Wofford's enrolled students receive approximately $32 million in scholarships, grants and loans each year. Each of the endowed scholarship funds requires that recipients demonstrate outstanding character, academic achievement, and potential for contribution to society; some have additional requirements for eligibility.
