Marlton's Robin Keyack Receives Ivor Griffith Service Award from University of the Sciences

PHILADELPHIA, PA (10/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Robin Soifer Keyack was presented with the Ivor Griffith Service Award at University of the Sciences' annual alumni reunion on Sept. 24, 2011. The award is bestowed annually upon the person who has voluntarily given time and service in an outstanding fashion to the University directly or through activity in the USciences Alumni Association.

Keyack, who is director of pharmacy at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ, has been involved in the alumni association for over 15 years. She was the chair of the awards committee before serving as president elect and then as president. During her presidency she was responsible for introducing the Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship fund to benefit a worthy undergraduate at the university on an annual basis.

Keyack has devoted much of her hospital pharmacy career to medication safety initiatives and has been a leader in projects such as Smart Infusion Pumps and Electronic Health Record projects. Prior to joining Shore, Keyack worked for Virtua Health for 18 years where in her last role she was director of information services and project manager.

She received her bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University in 1981. She also holds a green belt in six sigma methodology.

Keyack now resides in Marlton, NJ, with her two sons Michael and Thomas.
