Mary Mansius of Rockville Awarded Scholarship for Study Abroad
ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (12/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Mary Mansius of Rockville, Maryland, is the recipient of a Scholarship for Study Abroad at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The scholarships are awarded by the International Education Department to students studying abroad during the fall, spring, or summer semesters.
Mansius, Class of 2013, is majoring in anthropology with a minor in history. She plays club rugby, is a SafeRide driver, and is interested in lacrosse. Mansius intends to pursue a career in applied anthropology or archaeology and continue her education in England.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
