Matthew Anderson Appears in Bethel University Production of Crimes of the Heart

SAINT PAUL, MN (10/10/2011)(readMedia)-- Matthew Anderson (Carver, MN) will play Doc in the Bethel University performance of Crimes of the Heart this October and November. Anderson is a senior majoring in political science and communication studies.

Playwright Beth Henley won the 1981 Pulitzer Prize for her play, Crimes of the Heart. This heartwarming story follows the zany Magrath sisters. The youngest, Babe, has shot her husband in the stomach because she "didn't like how he looked." Meg, the middle sister, has unsuccessfully tried to make it big in the music business. And the oldest, Lenny, is struggling with her unmet desire for love and marriage.
