Matthew Phinney Selected as Salutatorian of Trinity College, Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (06/01/2010)(readMedia)-- Matthew Phinney, of Haydenville, MA, was selected as the salutatorian and received a bachelor of arts degree at the 184th Commencement of Trinity College in Hartford on May 23, 2010. Phinney majored in Music and Mathematics.

A total of 543 bachelor degrees and 56 master's degrees were awarded at the 184th Commencement ceremonies held on Trinity's historic quadrangle.

Founded in 1823, Trinity College is one of the oldest and highest ranked liberal arts colleges in the nation, with over 2,000 full-time undergraduate students from 42 states and 41 foreign countries.
