Max Lorn-Krause Performed In Ithaca College Theatre Production

ITHACA, NY (05/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Newton resident Max Lorn-Krause performed the role of Escalus and was the understudy for Vincentio in the Ithaca College theatrical production of "Measure for Measure."

Lorn-Krause is a senior acting major. His previous Ithaca College mainstage credits include Adult Alexander in "Coram Boy," Verges in "Much Ado about Nothing," and Mr. Bungee understudy in "A New Brain." Also at IC, he played Messenger in the senior directing project presentation of "The Bacchae"; narrator in "The Arctic Circle," a reading directed by Bob Moss; and Prior Walter in "Angels in America," a reading with On the Verge. Additional credits include Lysander in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and William in "As You Like It" with the Ithaca Shakespeare Company.

"Thank you to the entire cast and crew for an amazing production. Thank you to the entire Dillingham family, students and faculty alike, who have made these last four years unforgettable," said Lorn-Krause.

Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure," written in 1604, deals with the political structure and religious instability of Elizabethan England. This production of "Measure for Measure" focuses on the divide between monarchy and commoner in a unique world.
