McCabe of Zionsville Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant of the U.S. Army

CHESTER, PA (05/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Brandon T. McCabe of Zionsville, Pa., was commissioned as a second lieutenant of the U.S. Army on Thursday, May 10 through the ROTC program at Widener University. He graduated from Widener on May 12 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
During his senior year at Widener, McCabe served as an assistant operations officer. He is a graduate of the Leader's Development and Assessment Course and Air Assault School.
McCabe will enter active the U.S. Army Reserve as a quartermaster officer. He will attend Quartermaster Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Lee, Va., with a follow on assignment with Detachment 1 611th Quartermaster Company in Dover, Del.
McCabe's parents, Robert and Margaret McCabe, participated in the commissioning ceremony by pinning on their son's rank.
