McDaniel College Announces Caroline Bright as Director of Financial Aid
Bright is a resident of Arnold, Md.
WESTMINSTER, MD (09/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Caroline Bright has been named director of financial aid at McDaniel College. Bright has worked in higher education financial aid for more than 30 years.
At McDaniel, she will oversee the college's financial aid program of federal, state and institutional aid. More than 90 percent of students at McDaniel receive some type of financial assistance, and the college invests $29 million annually in grants and scholarships.
About joining McDaniel, she said, "I was specifically attracted to working at McDaniel because of the college's mission of providing access to deserving students. I look forward to supporting these efforts."
Formerly director of financial aid at St. Mary's College of Maryland, she has also held positions as associate director of financial aid at the Johns Hopkins School of Education and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, as well as served as the director of financial aid at St. John's College in Annapolis, Md.
She has a master's degree from Smith College in Northampton, Mass., and a bachelor's degree from Tufts University in Medford, Mass. Bright currently resides in Arnold, Md.
