McKendree Senior Chris Whitaker Presents Paper at Religion Conference

LEBANON, IL (04/15/2013)(readMedia)-- McKendree University senior Chris Whitaker, of  Belleville, presented a paper at the Midwest American Academy of Religion Conference in Ada, Ohio, on April 12 and 13. Whitaker, a religious studies major, presented his research on "A Modern Reformation: The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and LGBT," which was developed in an independent study course. Accompanying him to the conference was Dr. Duane Olson, professor of religion.
