McKendree Senior Josh Benitone Presents Paper at Religion Conference

LEBANON, IL (04/15/2013)(readMedia)-- McKendree University senior religious studies major Josh Benitone, an O'Fallon resident, presented two papers at the Midwest American Academy of Religion Conference in Ada, Ohio, on April 12 and 13. The papers were on "An Irreducibly Complex God," and "The Conflict with Traditional Christology and Christ Figures in Pop Culture."  They were researched and written as part of two independent study courses, one with Dr. Kevin Zanelotti, associate professor of philosophy, and the other with Dr. Duane Olson, professor of religion, who accompanied Benitone and another McKendree student presenter to the conference.
