McMurry War Hawks Matthew Chalk Earns ASC Honor

After a monster week at the plate, McMurry University junior outfielder Matthew Chalk (Katy, Texas/Katy H.S.) was been named as the American Southwest Conference Hitter of the Week for baseball, it has been announced by the league office. Chalk led the War Hawks' series win over the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor last week, taking two of three games versus the Crusaders, thanks to a .692 batting average over the weekend.
