McMurry War Hawks Receive ASC Football Honors

Fresh off of the conclusion of the 2016 football season, McMurry University has had a total of six players receive post-season honors from the American Southwest Conference, the league office announced.

It was the War Hawks' defense - which produced a total of 26 takeaways during the year - that landed a pair of first team All-ASC Defense honors. The duo includes defensive backs Jordan Washington (Pflugerville, Texas) and Decorian Johnson (Houston, Texas).
