McMurry's Chavez Honored by ASC

McMurry University senior goalkeeper Alex Chavez (Galveston, Texas / Bell H.S.) has been named as the American Southwest Conference men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office. Chavez - and the War Hawks (3-1) - shutout both foes faced last week, as the team is off to its second-best start in school history.
